My name is Victoria.
I would love to share my story with you a little bit at a time. A story about myself and why I use Cannabis and or CBD oil.
I am 66 years old. Doctors told my parents I wouldn’t live past my 20’s. I have suffered from Chrons disease for about as long as I can remember. I wasn’t diagnosed until I was 16. I had three surgeries by age 13. Two of those surgeries were on my intestines. By the Time I was 16 my large intestine had been removed. Oh, how I wish I knew about Cannabis back then. It would have been wonderful If CBD was legal then. I could be walking in health today, since CBD works as an anti-inflammatory and mood stabilizer. CBD would have relieved much of my pain by reducing inflammation and calming me. I have tried every prescription, infusion, treatment, and diet. The only things that have helped me are Herbs, Cannabis, Hemp oil (CBD), Turmeric, Ginger, Pepper, Chamomile, Mint, Basil, Macha, and the list is actually longer. But you get the idea here. I believe in Cannabis and Hemp oil (CBD) because it is the only thing that has helped me find relief from my condition without the side effects that are so common with pharmaceuticals that are normally prescribed to people with my condition.
It may be hard for you to relate to Crohns Disease if you don’t know how it affects one’s life. When Chrons Disease flares up the symptoms are pretty much immobilizing you. Most people have had the flu, or perhaps eaten something that disagreed with your tummy or digestive tract.Chrons is like that but much much worse. Have you ever felt so nauseated that didn’t want to move? But of course, you had to, even though you didn’t want to. Maybe you’ve felt that way a day or two. If you could alleviate this terrible feeling in a matter of minutes, I have no doubt you would.
How thankful I am for Cannabis in every form (vapes, oils, edibles etc.), It has proven to be very effective for me personally in relieving these terrible symptoms I deal with on a daily basis. My children have witnessed how Cannabis and CBD oil has worked in my life. While using CBD oil or Cannabis I can function. My pain is relieved my appetite returns and my creativity returns.
Now for the “legal stuff”. This is my personal experience with cannabis and CBD oil. I am not a doctor.
